Peanut Butter Breath ? - CE - Sourced from Jercanna - March 2022
Appearance - This is my first time trying a strain from CE and Iām not disappointed , I ordered āsmallsā and received some pretty good sized nugs , the first thing I noticed was the nugs were really moist , almost too moist so I feel like the cure and dry could have been a little better on CE part , I feel like due to the inadequate cure job it holds back some of the potential , besides that though these nugs are beautiful and trim job was okay for the most part , there were very little leaves but I feel like if I hand trimmed a few more of these buds it would look even prettier. covered in crystal with bright orange hairs hiding purple accents beneath which makes this bud have some vibrant colours , very few stems , regardless of how moist the buds are they still got some āstickā Smell/Nose - I was surprised at how earthy this bud is , with a slight dough scent following , itās pungent but mellow at the same time. It smells like the peanut butter breath Iāve had before only a bit more āmuskyā , slight gas smell but not as strong as Iād prefer it does honestly have a slight āpeanut butterā accent so I totally get why itās called peanut butter breath. Smoke/Taste - Incredibly smooth smoke with very little lung expansion , The taste is earthy/musky and very doughy , the exhale is also very smooth , smoke is medium thick and the ash burns mostly white , the little lung expansion it causes has a slight delay and I tend to cough about 20 seconds after I take a rip. Potency - idk if itās because Iāve been smoking strong OG crosses lately or what but this takes a few bowls to feel , keep in mind I also have a very large tolerance , itās not one of those buds that hits you right away , it took a few minutes to sneak up on me , it was kinda strange because after I took a few bowls when I first tested this bud I thought it had very little potency , until 2 minutes later both of the bowls started to hit me out of no where , it definitely gets the job done , the high is relaxing and more of a body high then a head high , slight couch lock but itās still a good strain to be active on , Iād say a great afternoon smoke ? Value - For the price tag (120$ - OZ) itās not bad at all , i donāt think id pick it up again as thereās so many other strains priced at the same value that are much more potent and better terps from JC , but all in all it is worth the tag. Id suggest maybe they lower the price to 100$ per oz to make up for the lousy cure job. All in all id rate it 8/10 , I feel like Iāve had a slightly better experience from different growers/companyās but that doesnt mean I wonāt give CE a shot again in the future! JC as always provides the best customer service so itās nothing on them! I feel like if only this had a better cure and dry then it would be some seriously killer stuff, itās a shame it was so moist. Iām gonna try and āopen jarā cure myself to see if it helps. ????
