STRAIN: Petal Perfume GROWER: Humble Gemini LINEAGE: White Thorn Rose x Grape Gasoline TYPE: Sativa-dominant hybrid THC: 27.5% Outside of a few outliers, I don't smoke sativas. I haven't for years. They typically make me feel anxious, overwhelmed, and just generally uncomfortable. I hate terpinolene, which is a very common terpene in a lot of sativas. I don't even generally care for the way they look. Wispy, ugly buds. Not for me. Enter Petal Perfume. Add this one to the "outlier" list. The tin cracked and I was blasted with a very distinct grapefruit/citrus aroma. If you've ever drank a mimosa, this is pretty much a 1:1 comparison, with some slight nuances. There is a very slight hint of grape from the Grape Gasoline, but there's also a slightly more prominent "wax" nose to it. I know it sounds strange, but it was intriguing and not off-putting. Smells like lipstick in a way? Regardless, it comprises a very small portion of the overwhelmingly citrus nose. Buds were medium sized, slightly foxtailed and a vibrant pine green with purple hues. Very nice trichome coverage. Sticky to the touch but still ground up with relatively little elbow grease. The nose on this is LOUD when ground up. Burying my nose in my grinder, it almost feels like you're drinking a mimosa. That waxy nose almost disappears and the grapefruit just punches your olfactory senses. I was really surprised with the burn on this for a few reasons. The first was the ridiculous oil ring which collected even when smoking outdoors. What a beautiful sight to behold. The second reason was the taste. This stuff is beautiful. Strong and lingers on the palate, the nose to taste translation is great. That waxy note does come back into play upon combustion. I would describe this as smoking a mimosa-flavoured Crayola crayon. Again, not off-putting, but definitely a unique twist I wasn't expecting. I actually enjoy it quite a bit. As noted before, this stuff is also exceedingly loud. Everyone within 3 blocks will smell it. Fantastic. White ash and a completely clean burn on this one. The cleanest-burning LSO I believe I've had to date. The high is amazing. Energizing and uplifting without a lot of the anxiety that typically accompanies sativas. There was a tiny bit of it about 10 minutes after the first joint of this stuff that I smoked, but I think it was more my body's reaction to the introduction of it into my system. A temporary "what the fuck" reset. Subsequent joints didn't have that effect as I knew what to expect. I really enjoy the high. Completely functional and clear-headed but that definite "I'm high" feeling. This shit would be great at a social function. I would order this again as an almost strictly-indica smoker. It was such an out-of-left-field experience that it was nice to keep in my rotation to smoke once every few days and truly enjoy the change of pace. I dig it. 9.1/10

Milk Tea - Skookum - September 2025

STRAIN: Milk Tea GROWER: Humble Gemini LINEAGE: Zerbert x Horchata TYPE: Indica-dominant hybrid THC: 28% Took a little bit of a shot in the dark and ordered this. It's a regular in their rotation over at Skookum and the description appealed to me. I also went with one of their sativa offerings to REALLY throw something different in the rotation, but I was curious about their hybrid-dominant indicas and so ended up with this. As per the usual, it showed up in one of their standard tuna cans with the boveda. Cracking it open immediately let out a blast of citrus funk, followed by a spicy and earthy note with a creamy, slightly nutty back end. Makes a lot of sense if you've ever drank Horchata. Upon breaking the buds apart, more of the Zerbert takes the wheel, bringing more of those sour candy/citrus notes to the forefront. I love a good Zkittles cross and this has that very prominent aroma. Not over on the dank/kushy end of the spectrum where I normally stay, this seemed like it would tick the box I needed ticked. Buds were medium to large sized, bright green with fuzzy pinkish-orange hairs an even dusting of intact trichomes. Moisture level was bang on for joint-rollers like myself. The trim on this is top notch, with hardly a leaf to be found. Buds were slightly squishy with average density and snapped off the stem with ease. These were very sticky once pulled apart, and took a little bit of elbow grease to get the grinder going. The end result was soft and fluffy and had a little bit of a scent that was reminiscent of Fruit Loops. Joint burned slowly, smoothly and evenly with a light gray ash. The mostly-dominant citrus/candy notes, while still present, take a bit of a step back and let the creamy, spicy notes of the Horchata shine through. The flavour on this is almost like a lemon ginger tea, but with milk and a touch of cinnamon? Cardamom? The evolution of the nose/taste on this was very cool to note, from opening the can, to breaking up the buds, to actually smoking. The buzz on this is great. While exact ratios are unavailable due to the rarity of this strain in the wild, I'd probably say this is about a 70/30. Sits right in that "relaxed yet productive" niche, which is great for me, as it calms my anxiety but still leaves me with enough energy to get things done, if I want to. I didn't today. It was a Sunday and I listened to music and gamed for a bit. The munchies on this one, however, are no joke. Lock your cupboards and your fridge. Another great offering from Skookum. Dark Dreams - Skookum - August 2025

STRAIN: Dark Dreams GROWER: Dune Crew LINEAGE: Cookies x Cherry Pie x Dream Factory TYPE: Indica-dominant hybrid THC: 28% Was feeling a bit underwhelmed lately, probably due to my tolerance, but it compelled me to ask around and see who had the absolute best flower available. A friend had recently had a terrific experience with Skookum, specifically their Mint Chocolate Chip. Skookum has been around in various incarnations for quite a few years now. Their prices are a little bit steep in comparison to other places, but I knew that my quest to find true AAAA+ 9.5+/10 flower was going to have a tax attached to it. Created an account, which saved me some cash off my first purchase, and pulled the trigger on the MCC (on sale), Black Soap (on sale), and this glorious shit right here, Dark Dreams. The other two are definitely great, but this shit right here is fucking tits. Amazing flower. Cracking the can, you're met with a sharp, pungent funk. Fuel and earth aromas, heavy in myrcene, but an undeniable punch of something else definitely assaults your nostrils. It's a difficult smell to describe sufficiently, and it's different from anything I've really ever smelled before. It hit me almost in my sinuses. I could fucking smell this shit in my soul. Buds were dark green and absolutely CAKED. In spots the trich heads had kind of melded together into almost this crust of THC. All their stuff comes in sealed tuna-type cans with a fresh boveda. Some love them, some hate them, I'm kinda indifferent. I don't necessarily see the need for them when the flower is sealed like this, but it is what it is. Chucked them in the bin when I jarred these all up, but for what it's worth, these flower were all pretty much perfect as far as moisture levels go. Sticky to the touch, these had my fingers absolutely glued. There was one big nug, probably around 7-8g, one about 2-3g, and the rest were about 1g on average. I only have video of the larger one or I would have uploaded it. Trust me when I say it was an absolute sight to behold. Burn was smooth, slow and clean. Waited until before bed to give it a try (night time burn pic) and even smoking outside with a decent wind, it oiled up right away. The freshness of the bud ensures that a 1.5g joint requires about half an hour of your time. Ash was light gray with small black specks. Terp translation is fantastic. It's a rare treat to smoke something that tastes "unfamiliar" and this ticks that box. It's nuanced and multi-layered and just hits in the right way. The high was amazing as well. Definitely indica-leaning, with that kind of mental fog that can envelope you if you let it, but I still felt strangely aware and uplifted and was able to have some great conversations. Dream Factory is a sativa-dom, and that punch shifts this from something that would otherwise slump me to something that just made me feel GOOD. I was hesitant to send the order through, as they haven't been mentioned here much in the last few years and it's always a gamble ordering from a new source. I'm glad I did. I don't have deep enough pockets to be smoking this stuff all the time, as my consumption is pretty high and they don't do bulk purchases. HOWEVER, as a treat to throw into the rotation or as something special to bring to an event or get-together, I highly recommend this stuff. Some of the finest flower I've smoked in a long time. 9.7/10

Ordered fine last year. The bud was muted and perhaps aaa. fast forward a year later been the worst mom to deal with of all time made an order a couple months ago . Still havent gotten it. There are multiple websites a .life and a .com and a .au I do not think my package is coming from .life just so you guys know not to order from there again like i said it was fine a year ago just muted over priced bud now i am out $500 , wondering if I typed in a wrong letter at first but they have my money currently . i asked for a refund or a tracking number with no response

Made 2 orders, 1st order doughtnut was a big let down I paid 120 for 14g and if you got it from a pal down the street youd wonder why they charged double to you! I made second order before opening the doughnut. This was on May 1st. They sent my package today May 9th expedited with the estimated delivery the 21st of May ! no exageration. They messaged lied about sending the order, then a week later lied about sending with xpresspost and angrily said "why would we waste $30 on canada post xpresspot" . After spending $400 on overpriced weed its mid stregth and cleaner . its the price and the taste not worth trying
