I’ve been hearing many great things about JJmeds Red Congo from various sources that it’s on the must try list and I can see why now! This ounce is on sale for 216 and I heard it takes a long time to grow I can see why it’s on the expensive side.These buds are light green with some shades of purple and the red hairs on this one is crazy. Lots of crystal on the buds they are very sativa like not dense more fluffy buds. They are small to a couple mediums I wasn’t expecting massive buds from this strain. The smell on this one is insane I’ve never smelled weed like it before and I had red Congo before but not like this. When I ripped open the bag it instantly hit me with this lemon grassy herb kinda smell and as you put your nose right up to it you get a wild root beer smell hard to discipline myself from opening the jar up too many times just the smell alone will put you in a good mood. The taste at this time doesn’t quite translate what I smell in a week or two in the jar I imagine the taste will pick up I get a lemon grapefruit flavour was hoping the root beer smell translated to the flavour but no. Very smooth no cough tickle or nothing. The high from this strain is very unique it’s all about the dosage for this one a very small amount will make you very energetic and uplifted and makes you want to get up and get shit done as one then guys in the comments said. You become very focused and your hearing and visuals are crazy good feels like I have a zoom option and it’s like playing call of duty with a headset on and you can hear all the foot steps and little sounds and pick them apart really heights your senses long story short. If you dare to smoke a big joint or bong hit your in for a wild ride I smoked a joint out for a walk and within 5 -10 minutes my eyes were blood shot red I was grinning ear to ear I felt like I was in high school again really trippy high almost psychedelic at one point felt the trail getting smaller and smaller didn’t know if I’d make it home that’s how high I was lol. At the higher doses it gives the body a little tingle almost like an eidble body buzz but very lightly. The burn was pretty good since this stuff is on fluffy side you’ll have to pack it tight in a joint or pack a bigger bowl then you would with denser stuff no coughing or expansion in the lungs it reminds me of jack herer it has the same compounds that are good for the lungs I’ll have to look more into what it is but other strains have it and it’s like southing it’s very easy on the lungs good one to smoke if your feeling sick. Overall this is my favourite sativa atm I will be hoarding this ounce for a couple months try keep it for morning smoke perfect for wake and bakes I give an overall score of 9.2 out of 10 This is a incentivized review I will be getting 15 dollar credit on my next purchase with JJMeds.
