Alien dog - Crazy Cannabis - May 2023

This one is around $130 for an ounce before any discount. Pungent smell and taste with a sharp herbal at the tip of my tongue whenever I exhale. Medium to large nugs however the potency wasn't that much of an improvement over their AA. Perhaps it last for a bit longer compared to the strain I tried earlier this week.

Rocket Fuel - Weedposters - May

Rocket Fuel was definitely something that looked a little bit better than it came out to be and gave off a good first impression. I was quite impressed by the trichomes plus the colour, nicely shaped and bagged batch of PBB Rocket Fuel. The nose was quite nice, mostly gassy and sweet. Maybe a bit higher of expectations based on the first impression, the grower (PBB), or the price, it was alright. The smoke was a little bit lighter in flavour translation, the potency was mid level, and ash was a mix of grey. Quality 8/10 Value 7.5/10

Strawberry Cough / AAAA / Chronic Farms

Strawberry Cough Was expecting a lot more of a kick from this strain than what I’ve experienced so far. The buds are a very nice vibrant green with orange hairs scattered all over and a nice layer of trichome too, they smell sort of like a raspberry tea very herbal and berry like scents coming off of it. The smoke is pretty smooth with the inhale and exhale tasting kind of gassy with a hint of mixed berries, mostly black ash when smoked. The high is very laid back but doesn’t put you in any type of couch lock state and the comedown is also pretty mellow, I’d recommend this as a daytime toke if you were to ever grab some. Tbh I doubt I’ll be picking anymore of this stuff up as it isn’t my type of strain I’d enjoy that much. I’d rate it at a 6.5/10

Tropical Smoothie - Herb Approach - May (2023)

It's just an eight but what I got is quite good. Big, round, spongy and really frosty buds. I found the smell is just like a bowl of fruits just like how vibrant the colour is on this one. Smooth smoke and really make me crazy hungry. Potency is good and around 24-25%.

El Chapo - Herb Approach - May (2023)

Tried an ounce and I am very satisfied with it. The taste is what feels very unique to me. It has a sweet citrus note and a spicy herbal undertone that I don't usually taste on other strains. I have been smoking a lot since April however this is still a bit too much for me to even light another bowl.

I have been looking for this strain ever since I got it as a gift a while back. Tasty smokes that's like vanilla cream coffee. The price wasn't so bad unfortunately it's starting to crumble and turning yellow for it. It's such a shame but I might try it again next time.

Bright orange nugs with plenty of frost coverage. It's as if the colour mimic the strong citrus flavor on this one too. Nugs are dense but won't be too sticky I could grind them up easily without any issue. Once grinded up there's also a bit of diesel coming through as well. The buzz did me a solid and quite balanced.

Wedding cake / The High Club / May 2023

Moods boosting strain and this one got delicious terp for it. I have only tried a couple of bowls so far but I can say it's smooth and good for all kind of bonding activity. Also crazy munchies as well ? Sweet strain overall and I'm gonna smoke the rest after a week or so.

So I bought this from MOM this time. The buds are so much better than the dispensary especially when they wasn't left in storage for decades. Fresh buds and full of tasty smells like a bunch of tropical fruits. I was buying along with my friend but for this quality, I couldn't get it as cheap as legal weed.

Pineapple Mints - Herb Approach - May 2023

Amazing buds structure and they are quite big as well. Very firm dense, spongy, and covered with orange hair and trichomes. The profile is characterized by a strong pineapple and a bit of mint as well making this very refreshing to smoke. The high itself is quite uplifting at first and really focus on the head before settling down to a balanced buzz all over my body.

Looks: Pretty caked, well trimmed, looks alright, mixed size bag of medium buds. 8/10 Nose, flavour: One of the highlights of this bud for sure. Creamy creamy gas sweetness. 9/10 Potency/high: Potency is good. Feels more Indica leaning with that hybrid effect. Pretty couch locking in my opinion. 9/10 Overall: Good flavour, decent smoke. Ash could be a bit lighter, and if it looked a bit more exciting it could probably score higher. 8.5/10 Value: 9/10

Price is $3.9/gram. It's less potency compared to their premium line but still hit decently good and it has a much more noticable pine on the nose as well. It has a bit of sweet floral taste as well but you won't notice it right away. Straight up couch potato and munchies high.

Roughly $5/gram before any discount. I have split this one before with a friend so I know what I'm getting. It's a beautiful dank strain and it tastes as good as it looks. Hit hard but not all super heady. It's more of a balanced strain and I got a decent amount of indica high as well. It's worth the money.

Carly Angel Aura (AAAA) ♥ Carly's Garden ♥ May 2023

They called this one Carly Angel Aura but from the look of it this is just Angel OG renamed. Pungent on the nose and there is a bit of berry undertone to it as well. Nugs are fair sized with a bit of purple on it. For me it's an alright indica strain. Last me for around 3-4 hours or so before I light up another bowl.

It's exactly how they look on site and I'm glad I bought this one for that. Loose nug but packed with terp and trichomes. Definitely not a light weight strain since this one really slap for both smell and buzz which hit me right in the face and left me couch locked for a while. There is some stick here and there in the bag but maybe it's because I bought a small bag.

It's quite cheap for like $50 an ounce. I didn't expect much but it wasn't some PGR stuff and it does look quite decent with all the hair. The flavor and potency is a bit lacking though but that's for buying cheap. The high didn't last for long so I'm gonna try and make some edibles with it.

Picked this up from The Canna Society a month ago. A seriously top grade Sativa. Great bud density and size with a very strong aroma. Gives an uplifting high that’s great for creativity and work. The taste is a light tangy type that hits very smooth, you almost feel as if you’re smoking from a vape.

Pink AAAA - Togo Weed - May 2023

Value is 7/10 Quality is 8/10 My husband's opinion: Value is 7/10 Quality is 8/10 Same price as the purple kush but much better quality. Brightly colored and decent nugs size with much more trichomes as well. Smooth smoke but sometimes it can be rough. The flavor is really gassy and the high is on point.

Got this PBB Cake Mints during the 5/20 sale (lol). It made me pull the trigger on something I wouldn't normally spend the money on. Looks wise, it's really awesome, beautiful all over, still pretty sticky too. In terms of the smoke, it wasn't too bad, ash was grey, a bit darker for such an expensive strain. Flavours were alright too, mostly cakey gas, some pine. For the price with sale it was a good experience. Doesn't and wouldn't blow me away for regular price though. Q 9 V 7.5

Purple Kush aaa - Togo Weed - May 2023

Value is 6/10 Quality is 5/10 My husband's opinion: Value is 5/10 Quality is 5/10 Classic strain so we got half a zip on this one. Bag appeal don't look really good unfortunately and it's mostly popcorn nugs. Didn't have much purple like I expected and the potency is a bit below average. Taste like typical purple with grape and incense profile.

Jedi Kush - Herb Approach - May 2023

Last nugs of my mix and match and this one is quite skunky. Has some crystalized trichomes but nothing too special. The smell though is quite kushy and it certainly reek all accross the room. It has a quite woody taste as well not like classic kush. The buzz feel much the strongest out of all the three I had. Fast acting and the couchlock is immninent.

Nugs have all kind of colour and quite dense as well. They got the right amount of moisture in it and looks really fresh with a reasonable amount of cake. Indica dominant but can also be used for the morning as well since you only need a nap at most to recover afterward. This is a very chilling and relax strain.

Solid for me overall. Decent size and plenty of sparkling frost all over the nugs. It's not too spicy but rather just slightly subtle with plenty of earthy aroma to it. Average THC but it's really smooth and get the job done. Very well balanced strain with nothing too stand out.

P wiz mediums - quadco

I took a gamble and grabbed a HP of pwiz from quadco. It had no pics on the site and it was pretty cheap so i said fuck if and bought it. Tastes sweet, piney, creamy, and a bit menthol or berry. It's really smooth. The ash is white and lots of oil too. This was really good for the price Really enjoying this one although quadco said they are done with pwiz now RIP. Makes me feel relaxed and focused and a little euphoria but not too much. It's not making me tired at all so I can smoke this anytime. smoke I rate this 5/5 for the price

Strawberry Cough (Cream of the Crop) - Budmail - May 2023

Buds are very firm with an impressive length and frost to it. This is not a smooth strain despite how it looks but I guess that's how it got the name. The taste itself is exactly strawberry cough just right before it becomes nasty. Buds keep me energized for several hours straight and really euphoric. Don't use at night unless you are planning for an all-night out. Solid 8/10
