I’ve had this one before about a year ago now. Missed out on a drop of it during the summer but snagged another tin during the Black Friday sales. This was one of my favourite tins from Skookum alongside the Do-Si-Do. The look, nose, high and taste are all on point with this stuff. Medium sized and relatively dense buds give off an earthy and gassy smell. When chopped up the nose turns almost to a dill pickle smell. Kind of reminiscent of Meat Breath to me. The burn is white and clean and the nose translates to the taste. High is effective but not face melting. Great for an evening chilling out but I also don’t mind having a puff before headed out to do a grocery shop or things like that. Munchies are negligible and burn out is pretty light. Overall - still a favourite. Quality: 9.5 out of 10 Value: 9 out of 10

Mocha Mint Looks: this stuff is a real looker. Tight medium to small nugs that are caked in kief, bright orange hairs contrast the purple hues nicely, making this some fine looking bud for sure. Nice tight trim, barely any leaf. smell: awesome smell. I get a similar smell to the MCC except less licorice like. THis stuff has a nice sweet, gassy cookie smell with some fruit loops mixed in. SMells divine Taste: In the vape the taste matches the smell nicely, albeit a little muted. Its super delicious and I really have been liking the seshes, very tasty indeed. Cookie heavy with some minty-esque diesel tones Quality: Not a heavy hitter but such an enjoyable, well rounded high. No anxiety, very chill, starts in the face and moves into rest of body. Great for unwinding and gaming. Vapor is very smooth and no headaches were given. If you get a chance to try this stuff, i recommend! Q-8.5 V-8

This one gets pretty low marks from me. Disappointing trim job on some of the bigger buds as well as some random relatively untrimmed popcorn in my tin. When paying a premium one would expect a premium product – looks, taste, smell and high. This stuff did not deliver in the looks department whatsoever. A couple of light brown spots in a couple of my bigger buds (can’t tell if it’s mold or perhaps just a dry patch). I’ve already been in contact with Budmail customer service and they took care of me which is great. The high and taste of this stuff is pretty good (almost a sour tangerine taste with an after exhale taste of cookie) with the high being a bit of a hybrid. It’s not a couch lock but it does pack a punch. Munchies are not bad with this stuff. The burn is salt and pepper at best. This one definitely should of been bag series rather than tin. Quality: 7 out of 10 Value: 6 out of 10

Back with another homerun by Skookum! ​ Apple pie is a wonderful Sativa cross of Acapulco Gold x Highland Nepalese. As soon as you open the tin your blasted with piercing sweet herbal citrus that's very pungent and delicious. The buds were mostly medium and some smalls but drenched with resinous trichomes making it super sticky. Bright greens and orange hairs with a nice density that crunches out really nice. The flavor is top notch, sweet and tangy citrus and full of flavor in a joint and vape. Burns perfectly slow to a light grey/white ash and vapes a generous amounts of vapor. ​ I had the last two consecutive Tins and they are slightly different in high but both amazing. I rarely smoke but I enjoy the flavor and buzz so much I went through the first Tin already which is very cerebral and motivating. Has a mellow relaxing background high that leaves you feeling serene while your mind soars and your ready to tackle the day. The second Tin was a bit more euphoric and intense if comparing the two but just as motivating and very mood enhancing. Best part is that they both really long! Picked this one up as my last purchase over the Black Friday weekend sales, actually snuck it in right under the wire. Super “on a whim” purchase just so I could have a decent stock on hand for the holiday season. Cracked the tin and was instantly impressed. Packed completely full of gorgeous medium sized glistening buds. Nose and taste is what you would expect from the genetics and are stellar. Nice exhale and a very clean burn. High is a relatively strong one. Not much of a functional stone for me. Definitely a lay about and watch movies or play games type high. Munchies came on strong for me with this. Burn out put me to sleep which isn’t a bad thing in the least. Glad I got this and out of all my Black Friday purchases this one is definitely a surprise favourite. This had been highly recommended by the nice peeps on their CS team but I kept missing it. It was sold out by payday, I had a coupon for tins and was available in the bag and then when the tins came in the coupon had expired, shit just didn’t sync. I love Skookum but can’t afford full price on a regular basis, anyway it popped up on a 25% off sale and I grabbed two tins. I’m not much for self-control but I did squirrel a can away for the holidays, and have yet to open said can. I do occasionally find myself caressing the tin and checking to see that the seal hasn’t broken on its own. Perfect buds. Vibrant green and deep, rich purples are overshadowed, and subsequently muted, due to the thick curtain of trichomes draping each bud. Nose was weird and atypical yet freakishly enticing. I got pastry, more Austrian than French, like flour, vanilla, and icing sugar. For real. Then in behind I detected woodsy….cedar and some good ole diesel. Super smooth. Solid resin ring. Smiling, happy and a little goofy with respect to effects. Not a crushing stone but really satisfying: euphoric and calming. Ordered Thursday, delivered across country Sunday. I jumped on this one when it was released, after seeing it popping in the most requested strains on Budmail's forum I was sure it would be a hit. And it is, terps on this are insane, reminds me a bit of the Blue Coma with much less "cheese" taste. You can taste the berries with almost an hint of vanilla. Exactly the kind of strains I love, it's just mouthwatering. Got one large nug, two smalls and one medium, they're beautiful, filled with trichomes and smell amazing. I keep opening the jar just for the smell. High CBG %, I'm in a VERY happy mood at the moment. I vaped a bowl in my Dynavap and I just feel awesome, it's not a high that will bring you to space, but it's perfect for doing tasks, working if you can. It's one of these strains that I will have a hard time smoking the last nug until I can get more. IMO you can't go wrong with Budmail Premier Line. Q: 10/10 V: 10/10 (with black friday discount)

Have really enjoyed this re-up despite the 2nd tin arriving with a 6g nug completely wedged/flattened into the tin, with its stem having seemingly been welded into the lid somehow.. The smaller nugs were less squished and that flattened nug isn't pictured here. Ultimately, I get that packaging decisions are made with efficiency/logistics in mind, but definitely thought it was a shame that these otherwise awesome flowers were crammed into a can much too small Nonetheless, this Dutch Crunch (Jack Herer x Dutch Treat) is extremely loud as sweet, zesty, skunky, pine in the jar. Flavours start as a pungent, skunky pine sweetness that settles into a creamy, earthy, and slightly spicy base with a splash of diesel late. Perhaps not the most in-demand or new-age terps, but this cultivar is for sure one of the terpiest flowers I've ever enjoyed Likely giving this cultivar a 9 for potency as a relatively balanced hybrid that starts with potent, stimulating cerebral effects that settle as calm, focused relaxation with some physical relief as well. Overindulgence of this cultivar might result in munchies + some delayed burnout as well Think I wrote something similar about the first tin, but overally really happy to have tried this particular strain/offering + still wish I got more of it
