Zombie Cake - Weed Prime - January 2021
More pictures : https://imgur.com/a/KJVBXxA First time hearing of this exciting cross of Zombie Kush and Wedding Cake so I was very excited to try this one. Nice looking buds, sporting a very appealing colour combination that pairs mossy greens with violet hued sugar leaf. Arriving with a fair share of trichomes that leave the dense buds sticky to the touch. Lovely cure as well with a trim that could be a bit neater but for the price point you can't complain. Not the strongest smelling bud and a little muted until broken up where notes of sweet and musky cedar wood accented by hints of lavender and herbs are released. Also infused with cakey nuances that linger in the background. Not a profile I come by often and is quite pleasant overall especially with the tag taken into consideration. I wish it was just a little more cake tasting as it shares more of the zombie traits with a woody and earthy flavoured smoke that is accented by a herbal sweetness. Joints burn with a salt and pepper coloured ash and impressive grease ring, remaining smooth from start to finish. A cerebrally stimulating high that treads more in the indica department. Like the name suggests, this one can indeed make you feel like a zombie as it promotes a lethargic like buzz accompanied by a calming body stone. Super relaxing stuff as it does a great job of ridding any stress away and leaving you carefree. Potent as well, with only a small amount needed to leave a lasting impression. Not an instant knockout but it can definitely build up to that, especially if enough is smoked.
