CG Mac 1 Cereal Milk - HGA - April

Order made April 11 Packed on April 12 Delivered on April 15 via CP (from BC to AB) HGA continues to surprise me with their quality bud and selections. I had many to try this time (GWIZ, Infinity Star, Forum GSC...) but the star of the show was the Mac 1. Appearance: Best I've ever seen from HGA as it's frosty and decent sized nugs. Well trimmed imo. Aroma: Smells like hints of kush-like bud. None of that grassy, lemony, type of smells associated with sativa/uplifting/energizing strains. Flavour: Can't tell if there's any flavours at all! Tastes like regular bud with nothing special, maybe a peppery aftertaste? Effect: It's become my favorite strain as it's a great daytime weed if you smoke just right - giving you a blissful feeling and a constant stream of thoughts and ideas. Problem when you smoke slightly too much is that I forget how to vocally piece together words and sentences. Smoke heavily enough and I would feel lost in happiness, with no words or thoughts at all. Looking forward to trying their current MAC 1 and making a repeat order on the next Cookies Grower release.

Alaskan thunder fuck - distillate direct - may 2021

Quality 10 High 10 Value 10 I've been making candy and infused honey with this distillate and it's been fantastic. Many folks have tried the distillate from DD so there isn't much new to say. It's an awesome consistent product. Great quality. Burns clean on my enail. I find it difficult to make carts with it though. It's extremely sticky and thick. It can be worked with when lots of heat is applied and I just generally don't like to fuss with it as much as is required. I've had success mixing with shatter batter and stuff but I prefer the unmixed distillate of course. The stuff works in carts just not as easily as I would like it to. I've found that DD carts they sell seems to work fine without clogging. I do fill a 1 ml syringe and try to split that into four parts to make four 2 to 250 mg edible candies. Will always buy more of this. In my opinion there's no better value for making your own edibles

Skywalker - worth 59/o, stem rot. According to wtf cannabis, you do not consume stems and will not affect the rest of the ounce. Since there is covid around, I will not even risk putting this in my mouth for consumption. I have contacted customer service and this was their reply. Value = 0/10 Quality = -5/10 Customer Service = 1/10 This is a horrible experience. I am out 60$ for garbage

French Bread ? ? ? from Stashbox Sourced from PBP ? ? French Bread packs a punch :) Super Doughy !! Tastes and smell are what the name imply, very clean smoke, super dense buds that smell of coffee gas and dough when busting, super crystallized and good stick when rolling:) Taste is very doughy like a mildly sweet white bakery bread but with that Face Off OG punch and undercurrent!! Really neat cross here by archive seed bank, Perris OG x Face Off OG Bx1, this is one of my personal favs so far from Paid by Pounds:) Maybe not as complex as others but the straight up simplicity done really well really pays off in this cross:) Thanks Stashbox

LA Cake Pop - One Two Treez - May 2021

Appeal: Has a magnificent snowy teal green color with some purpling on the buds, being heavier on some. Buds were on mainly the smaller size. Density: Being rock hard, with very little spongeyness on touch. Smell: Has a sweet earthy dessert cookie aroma with slight hints of a lime like citrus scent. Trim/Cure: Has a expectional manicure job, theres no leaf at all. The cure is very well done, being pretty well perfect. Taste: When smoked I recieved a sweet herbal cookie taste with a slight citrusy taste. Burn: Had a perfect burn in a joint being continuous and slow and fairly even the whole way through. The ash was white with minor salt n peppering. There was a nice grease ringer. Potency: I found this to be a medium to high potency balanced hybrid. High: At first I was clear minded and focused in on the tasks at hand. I was feeling a creative engergy. After a few joints I found a sedation crept up on me, making me feel ever so relaxed. Value: Valued at 210 a zip before any discounts and rated a quad. Quality - 9 Value - 8.5

Ok so... This weed is pretty good. Ok, that's an understatement. It's beyond what I'm used to smoking as far as quads and craft cannabis go... It's like AAAAA unironically, which is unprecedented for me... There's only a few strains that have come even close to this. Ash is perfect, smells amazing too. Picture speaks for itself... This is some of the best weed ive ever smoked.

Bubba Kush - Onetwotreez - May 2021

Name of company: Onetwotreez Decided to give OTT a try because I seen a lot about them on this sub /CanadianMoMs recently. They’ve got some real cheap AA and AAA so I decided to see if it was worth it. Customer Service: 8/10 From what I’ve seen on the sub, no complaints about OTTs customer service however I’ve yet to have personally dealt with them. Site layout is good, doesn’t look hastily thrown together or confusing. They have a Discord as well as most major MoMs which I consider a plus towards customer service Quality of product: 8/10 Ordered some very cheap $70/oz AA and $100/oz AAA (pictured). I was surprised that both strains were decently smokable; with the Bubba pictured actually being somewhat potent with large, larfy but potent nugs. Hand-trimming some of fan leafs off quick makes this a pretty decent $100/oz budget smoke with about an 8/10 potency. Not too harsh out of a bong either. Value: 10/10 For some real cheap weed this is an excellent value. Anything $100/oz and under usually smokes like crap but this stuff is not that bad. It’s smooth and potent enough to smoke out of a bong, or make some edibles with. Either way I think it’s a really good value (can get 2oz @ 144, 2oz @ 192 on site on both strains I ordered). One thing I could maybe comment on in regards to how they handle business is to ship contents in a small cardboard box, wrapped with the sealed bag inside rather than one of those plastic-sealed mail bag things with the other vacseal inside that way nobody’s gonna get their contents felt up. Just as an “in case” Overall I’m happy with this order and will order again. Shoutout to OTT for having some decent, cheap smokable mids in these Coronavirus times.

Slyme Cookies (LSO) - Sourced by One Two Treez - May 2021

A cross between Slymer & SinMint Cookies by Sin City Seeds, these buds are quite the eye candy, frosted sugar coating and all. Seriously, they are absolutely covered in trichomes. Beautiful colouring to them, combining shades of dark purple and green, with the purples running deep down to the core of the buds. Lovely orange pistils to give them some contrast as well. Dense and semi sticky, paired with a great cure and trim. I did notice one bud to have a couple very tiny premature seeds but it ended up being limited to that one bud only. The nose is probably my favourite part about this strain as it's exploding with fresh lemon/lime soda terps with undertones of sweet pine and spice. I've had a few strains with this particular profile but this one definitely kicks it up a notch. Similar when smoked, especially in a bong where I found it to be more accurate to how it smelled. Flavours of zesty lemon citrus that quickly morph into a spicy, earthy cookie taste. Silky smooth and easy on the lungs as I smoked some first thing in the morning without the slightest urge to cough, burning to a light grey ash while producing a decent sized oil ring. A high that comes across as a very balanced one to me, offering a little bit of everything in the hybrid spectrum. Starting off with a wandering, stoney head high that brings on social qualities with it as well. Easily feels like it could be sativa leaning during the earlier stages of it's high until later on when the calming, relaxing effects come into play, making it best suited for afternoon and evening use though you can even wake and bake with it if you have a higher tolerance as there is the potential to be slightly burned out and lazy afterwards.

Review: Nice Hybrid strain. Smells really good with citrusy and sweet tones. I really like the peppery after taste it gives. Buzz is very euphoric and very creative. Good mid-day break. Very nice and mellow Flowers are well-frosted. Burns well. Good price for a strong effect. Two thumbs up.

Review: Love this Indica strain. Very aromatic with herbal and earthy tones. I really like the spicy after taste it gives. Very woodsy feel too. Very good buzz. Definitely a body high. Good for appetite loss and insomnia. Flowers are well-frosted and burns very well. Good price for a potent effect. Two thumbs up for sure!

Review: What an awesome Indica strain. Very aromatic with sweet and earthy tones. I really like the berry after taste it gives. Buzz is very happy and relaxing. I use it for the end of the day. DEFINITELY a knock out. Also good for managing minor pains. Flowers are well-frosted and burns very well. Very affordable for a legit effect. Highly recommended!

Jelly Breath - Yeti Greens - May 2021

Going to be posting a bunch of reviews for them, very satisfied with everything I received so far. Sorry there weren't any photos of the flower ground up or smoking, but this strain burned excellent. The buds were very dense with lots of crystals. The aroma and taste was gassy with minor hints of vanilla. The buds were nice and moist, it was stored and cured perfectly. The only drawback I found with this strain was the medium nug sizes. Stuff was super first and I'd be smoking this everyday if I could. Should have grabbed more while they had it in stock.. They mentioned the seed breeder for this strain was In House Genetics. I did a quick google search for them and their entire lineup looks bomb. If anyone has any other sources that are selling In House Genetics flowers I'd be very interested.

Cookies Grower: chocolate mint and chemical poison - HGA - May 2021

Thought I would try a couple strains by Cookie Growers last order. I dont fully understand the hype but maybe I didnt select the best strains. The Chemical Poison was fluffy and bud structure was nice but smoke was a but rough. Not very heavy indica effects which is what I look for. The Chocolate Mint however, was more of an indica and smoked smoother. Not as potent as I was expecting but was good for after work relaxing. Ultimately glad I tried them but not overly satisfied. May try other strains but the price point in a little steep.

LA Kush Cake 6.3 Smalls - Prohibition Farms - May 2021

I will give a short review of this before the “prohibition hate train” starts and being deemed a shill if you post about them. Received this last night and bag appeal is on point for smalls. Beautifully caked little nugs that are like past ?batches of this. Even tho Buds are small they are dense and fresh, I like the cure personally nice sticky to fingers. Smell has burnt rubber and nice gas notes. Smoke is white ash as you see in photo, the heavy resin greases up the paper nicely. Taste is smooth with the legendary 6.3 taste. Buzz is heavy and helped with sleep. I couldn’t pass up on this with way covid is giving me more time off lately times are tough for me lately oz @ 149 before discount this helps allot. Will be getting more in the future, hope they keep these around. Overall value - 10/10 Overall Smoke - 8.5/10

I will give a short review of this before the “prohibition hate train” starts and being deemed a shill if you post about them. Received this last night and bag appeal is great heavy cake that makes it look white, reminds me of white rhino from back in the day. You see hints of purple and green peaking out from the frost. Buds are dense and fresh, I like the cure personally nice stick to fingers. Smell has faint gas and berry pine notes. Being fresh it’s tough to grind I left on table for few minutes before busting helped make a nice outside crisp and busts nice. Smoke is white ash as you see in photo, taste is smooth with little pine to smoke. Buzz is heavy and sedating. I grabbed oz @ 255 before discount. Will be getting more in the future. Overall 9/10

Slyme Cookies • Lineage: Slymer x SinMint Cookies • Bred by Sin City Seeds • Cultivated by Private ACMPR • Sourced from Thehighclub.biz • ? • Bag appeal - these medium sized uniformly shaped conical buds have a great trim and cure and are rock hard dense with a snappy texture that is sticky to the touch. Gorgeous looking nug made up of multiple shades of purple, dark olive green, and even some grey and black with an abundance of fire orange pistils and some yellow/orange in color. Adding immensely to the bag appeal and matting everything down is an immense amount of glistening trichomes covering every nook and cranny with many outer heads intact. • ??? • Smell/Taste/Burn - the nose on this is very strong and nostalgic for me as, I haven't had a strain with such a strong pine needle smell since I was in high school. The taste translates absolutely seamlessly to a very smooth smoke that tastes just like it smells. Strong piney terps dominating for the most part until you are met with just hints of sweet earthy Cookies on the exhale and aftertaste but again, it's just hints as that pine needle taste overpowers it. Joints burn perfectly instantly forming a huge oil ring and produce a salt and pepper colored ash. • ? • High - another one that sets in behind the eyes and leaving you with spacey head high that is very calming. Quickly becoming slightly indica dominant, a body load joins in that works great for chronic pain and continues to build until leaving you feeling lethargic but not couchlocked and completely able to function being a great daytime smoke. • ? • Overall this was my 1st time with this strain and certainly wont be my last. Amazing bag appeal, crazy loud terps that translate perfectly, clean and very greasy burn, and medium/high potency effects that last long. I rate this Quality 9.25/10

Crown Chakra - Kootenay Craft - Apr 2021 (Preview)

This first dropped in Feb or March I believe, but I got the re-up batch as part of their 4/20 promo and I'm pretty sure this will end up being my favourite of what we tried from this source in April Listed as the sativa-dominant offspring of Sour Diesel x Blackberry x White Widow x an unknown Thai sativa, this Crown Chakra arrived slightly dry but with a pronounced nose that is woody, musky and herbal, with an underlying sweetness in the jar. Really attractive, highly resinous medium nugs that came in chunky, funky shapes - I felt horrible about breaking these nugs down. Found this fairly smooth and quite flavourful along the same lines as its aroma, though it's a bit harder to describe all of the sour and fruity notes on this, likely 9 Enjoyment score Would describe the experience as an uplifting but slightly stony/foggy cerebral buzz that builds and builds over time before descending as physical relaxation and improved appetite, with a tiny bit of burnout.. I happened to try/review this alongside some Violet Vixen from the same source, and I found that hybrid to be more heady and uplifting, with this Crown Chakra feeling more like a balanced strain between the two Excited to get to know this better over time, but have really enjoyed photographing this cultivar while getting acclimated to new equipment - kudos to the grower + source for getting such beautiful flowers to us with minimal signs of handling Expected 416 Database Score: 89-92 AAAA Full Disclosure: Subsequent to our reviews, we are humbled that Kootenay Craft has become one of our approved charitable sponsors.
