Rosin by Darkside Concentrates for $25/g
First time trying rosin and as this was half the usual price I was unsure of what to expect. A nice glass container with a screw on lid contains the dark waxy oil. Looks nearly black at first but it’s actually a greenish brown on my dab tool. No strain information so possibly pressed from trim, hash, kief, or a combination.
Buddery consistency that melts into a darker oil and thickens as it vaporizes leaving residue on a quartz banger. Residue cleans up easily with an iso’d q-tip and causes me no concern as the product is solventless. The flavour reminds me of hitting a flower bowl with hash mixed in, not the smoothest dab but the taste is of pure cannabis.
Effects hit hard but also seem to drop off faster than other concentrates. Strong head high for around an hour and then I find it to induce sleep to extreme levels and likely to be high in secondary cannabinoids. Also great for joints as the sticky element or coating kief along the outside.
