Birch+Fog Let me preface this one a bit. I wasn't really a fan of Birch+Fog the last few times I ordered. I felt like I was paying that retail premium, and honestly while I think their marketing is very successful it really isn't my cup of tea. All that said, I had a $100 visa gift card from using OpenCare to find a dentist, and Birch+Fog is one of the few to take credit cards; also I was out of Sativa; and this is where our story begins.... Overall rating out of 10: 7.5 Sign Up: Easy I think, it was a while ago, this was an additional order long after sign up. I'm not going to talk about that here because it wasn't part of the experience, and man, B+F love their experiences. Ordering & Pricing: I paid $97 for 4 grams of Island Jack and 4 grams of Red Congolese and shipping. I didn't order enough to get free shipping. Communication: We didn't correspond. I ordered, got tracking, got weed, got high. There were no CS issues that required contact. Packaging: Well packaged in vacuumed sealed bags inside a box. The B+F branded tissue paper is a nice hipster useless choice that adds to the aesthetic. Anyway. Products / Photos: To be honest, I wasn't really expecting much. I'm not sure why, the last flower order I had from them was fine. Pretty even. But I ordered two sativas, wasn't expecting a huge punch, just wanted to use up the gift card and increase the strain collection y'know what I'm saying? I was pleasantly surprised! The Red Congo at first was disappointing. I'm used to caked red hairs and a very exotic look. This stuff still looked exotic, but I saw the yellowing hairs and was sure I had an inferior product. Take a look for yourself below. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The signature pepper and spice nose is there in full force, both when breaking it up and when vaping it. This is a unique sativa strain folks, one everyone should try. This might not be the best example of it, the stuff I had from JJ last year was better, but this a very, very decent. The high isn't quite as intensely intellectual as I found the other batches, its still a peppy sativa that gives a great rush of creativity and drive. I'm writing this review right now on a couple of bowls, and I've been procrastinating it for weeks. 34064287_503586656727135_2957069057557266432_n.jpg Island Jack is supposedly just Jack Herer grown on the island, but this taste was unique enough that I'm not sure about that. It has a bright, tropical fruit based taste that makes me think more of Island Jack the Carribean pirate than sweet jack herer but whatever, its tasty as hell. The high was also light and in the front of the head, but not overly intense. It was a great morning time smoke (see picture) and it tasted so damn good I would add a pinch of it to every bowl I smoked last week just to have some of that sweet sweet island sunshine. 33703148_545658149168848_6606719471543386112_n.jpg Incentive for Customers: I bought these when they weren't on sale, but basically don't buy from B+F unless it's on sale, they frequently drop strains by 40% or more. Notes: I guess the short version is I was pleasantly surprised by two very tasty sativas from a MOM I didn't expect much from.

Black Diamond - 180/oz w/35% rebate with 3oz or more came to around 120/oz. 8.5/10 - Smell was intense, as soon as you opened the jar it smells alittle piney, with a very slight skunk. Orange hairs everywhere as well as mad crystallization. Buds are very very tight and very well trimmed. Very sticky in the grinder. I enjoy this stain before the gym or working out / biking because it gives you that extra edge i feel that it helps. IMG_20180615_221223.jpg Purple Goddess - 180/oz down to 120/oz 8.0 / 10 - Pure skunk, smell hits hard everytime. buds are nice and tight. trimming is AAAA on all these buds. Smoked great, but didnt taste the best IMO. GREAT high, put me to bed right away. I loved it. Sends me right to sleep, rather quickly! IMG_20180615_221446.jpg Purple OG - 200/oz down to 130oz. 9.5 / 10 - It was a great bud, smelled and smoked just like the Purple Goddess but tasted much better in my opinion. Overall great big buds, with tight noses. Looked great overall and unreal trim. Insane price if you buy 3 or more oz or just buy a QP. This is a night time strain and sends me to bed! I mean free weed deserves a 5, But I won't buy from them though due to their sketchy growers. powdery mildew on the Black Diamond it does not show on the pic here since I've discarded the buds with mildew there still some on the steam from that buds. Most buds are budget buds AA at best, not well trimmed while shipping a free 28g is a great promotion. I would have sent only a few g of the best stuff instead. While the reviews were from a free sample pack, the review isn't biased and based solely on their strain and my opinions.

Very good stuff, taste kinda nutty/berry in the vape. Cured perfectly, nice nose with a hint of gas, burns white, very smooth. Put me to sleep the past cpl nights

Death Bubba: Perfect for my insomnia and anxiety!!! This strain kicks in within 5 minutes knocks me out but doesn't leave me groggy in the mornings. as you can see by the pictures the nuggs are bulky 9/10 Rainbow Diamond Kush: Potent smokes clean, smooth I got a body high as well. Its really similar to there blue dream which I like more, but over great strain nugs were fat its smell is skunky and kushy with notes of pine, while the flavour reminds me of pine trees 10/10 great bud. Zombie Og 2.0- This got me really stoned a little to heavy for me, really stinky and potent, smooth but within a few mins it hit me really hard. Didnt feel too well i enjoy the lighter strains.

I have had alot nicer i wouldn't go that far very unique strain though the smell is very weird reminds me of something just cant put my finger on it the smell is a very strong sativa smell tho until you start to bust it up then the smell completely changes to and indica smell

Good hybrid perfect for daytime smoke,very smooth taste came a bit dry compared to the other strains and the site was saying nuken glue but the label say Nukem I think I recognized the unique smell of the nuken tho,this one smell all over the place as soon as you open the jar I prefer indicas so this one wasn’t my favourite for effect but still a great strain

This one dosent look as good as the 4 others strain I got from kootenay but still it is my favourites one the taste and potency are exactly what I was lookin for,nice Indica with a fruity/kush taste their middle line seems to be the sweet spot price quality ratio.I am gettin my second order with them soon they’ve been very quick to answer my email when I had a couple questions.
