The vacuum seal went a bit overboard, so almost all of the 4 bottles were indented. Either that or Canada Post had some really weird problems along the way, because the box exterior was pristine. Contains an invoice. Purchased on Friday; arrived Tuesday. Buds - I purchased more Platinum Girl Scout Cookies and Citrique, as I expressed the desire to do so in my previous reviews. As I have Citrique on the way from King Tut as well, I plan to do a FACEOFF so it will not be included in this review. I also elected to try two of the new AAAAs which have been well-reviewed by other reviewers on the forum: Alpacho Gold and Platinum Blackberry. Alcapalo Gold - 9/10 stars I’m working on one bowl in the vape and getting a notable sativa high. I bow to its powers. I was like “ehhh you’re an ugly lil nug aren’t you” when I weighed it out and was super unimpressed by its lumpy weirdness. Now what a lesson in not judging a book by its cover indeed. For the record, I’m the heaviest user among my friends, and I use concentrates on most days. My consumption doesn’t come anywhere near that of some of you incredible smokers, you, fiends. But it’s still high enough that I don’t expect to get this kind of a rush from a smaller amount of flower alone in a vape. I would buy this strain again and if I didn’t have two other orders of weed in transit for the next month, I would buy it right now. It is fiendishly potent, no matter how ugly it looks on the outside. Don't judge this book by its cover. Platinum Blackberry - 6/10 Interesting nose; it is definitely blackberry forward. However, ground up, the smell quickly dissipates, leaving me a bit underwhelmed. They’re saying quad, but I’m getting more AAA vibes off this one. The vapor is reasonably smooth and to be fair, it tastes great. Pair it with a cocktail, pair it with a large bowl of healthy snacks… pair it with you going to bed. Plus it was underweight and had a notable amount of shake in the bottom of the bottle. I wanted to give it a try, but it’s not comparable to Black Roses from my previous order. For the high, it took me 3 bowls to get a proper indica couchlock going on, and indeed it served as promised, gluing my limbs to the couch and running my brain down to a halt. I’ve been pretty energetic today and it did bring me down. This is obviously desirable for some people who use cannabis, I am not one of those people. Not a re-buy for me, but I recommend it if that’s your game. Platinum Girl Scout Cookies - 8/10 This is a re-buy for me, because I went through my first quarter and realized I kept reaching for it and being disappointed I didn’t have it. This is a restock, but it’s almost identical to the first batch I received in everything but nugger size. These are some proper nuggets of marijuana, fresh and springy, perhaps a little too fresh for some people’s use preferences. It burns perfectly in a joint, however. While its flavor is SHOCKING in the vape, in a joint it is smooth as silk with a sour note and this sort of trail of uncooked rhubarb, it’s really something else. Burns white too, so that’s a plus. I can confidently recommend it as quality smoke. It does tend to make my friends cough, it has a weird sort of sourness to it and a lot of that pepper flavor some people associate with Girl Scout lineage. I grew attached to it and couldn't resist ordering some again on the restock. Gotta say, both of the Platinum strains are absolutely beautiful in their coloration. Wonderful bag appeal, as they say. Love any strain that has a GSC influence and you can definitely tell in the smell and taste. Sweet and earthy with citrus and berry hints. Strong hybrid with obvious indica dominance and had me feeling perfectly relaxed but not sluggish or tired. Took a while to fade off and there wasn't no burnt out feelings afterwards. The buds are beautiful and frosty and sticky to the touch but still grinds up fluffy in the grinder. Smoke is thick and heavy and burns a salt and pepper coloured ash.

I have both GG4 and Tangie right now and I'd say this smells like a little bit of both but tastes more like Tangie but I haven't tried it in a joint yet. Very nice buds, bright green and covered in trichomes. Smokes really smooth, white ash. The high is pleasant, cerebral with a bit of body buzz and creeps up on you a little. Not as much of a couch lock as straight up GG4. I smoked two bowls and hung out with friends for a few hours and felt great. I did find some pre-mature seeds like tiny green seeds but to me its not a concern. Might be for others. First time reviewing a strain so not sure if I've given enough info but feel free to ask more questions!

It's great actually. Little nugs covered in resin. Can really smell and taste the diesel. Taste is great and leaves a nice, almost bitter, chocolately after taste. Instantly felt it in my head, then it spreads like butter all over you. Couch lock is high - thank god I had a couple seasons of The Office, lol.

Taste and smells is amazing, high is suuuuper heady but not like disorienting / distracting. I usually don’t like smoking sativas while working (I am a line cook) because I find they will make me distracted and makes mistakes, but this one was still rather focused and didn’t leave me like flustered.

Deffffff has a weird chemical taste that like.....coats the inside of your mouth...... it said soapy after taste on the website but like this is some next level weird shit....

Too early to tell as I just smoked my first bowl of the day but it's defintely got a nice sativa head high going. I'll post a full review soon.

Hey everyone. I recently tried out a new MoM (new to me that is) from this forum called 'GanjaWest' out of B.C. I placed my order on Saturday morning and had my delivery, at my door by mid day on Wednesday. Considering we don't count weekends when it comes to mail services, it really only took 2 days between process and delivery. Certainly nothing to complain about there! Purple Punch AAA- 1 gram sample White Chocolate AAA - 1 gram sample Great White Shark AA - 1 gram sample In the same order, here are my reviews on each strain. Bubba Kush A - Ounce I had watched a handful of reviews on this strain. and more often than not, people stated that this was a bit of a harsh strain. Resulting in a lot of coughing etc. I found it to be extremely smooth. It has a lighter pine smell than I expected it to have, it's more subtle which I liked. The taste of this bud is really enjoyable with a nice mug of coffee. With each inhale, I could distinctly taste chocolate and coffee type flavours. It was sort of like an after dinner, dessert joint! This strain is a fairly high indica strain. But I didn't really feel any major couch lock. Quite relaxed and seems to be a nice pain killer as well. My shoulders were killing me all weekend and after a good size joint of this strain, I was much more comfortable. Defintely a plus there! And at the price points GanjaWest offers, I figured no better time than the present to get me a lil sum sum lol. Now, is it the best hash I have ever smoked? No, but it certainly does the trick! The smell is a bit strong for my taste, I can't quite describe it to be fair. But aside from that, it is an enjoyable hash. Fairly smooth, has a great crumble effect to it when you heat it on a pin to add to your joint. Very nice consistency to the touch and soft enough to mold into little dabs for hot kniving or as I said, adding to your weed. Not sure if people actually hot knive anymore but if you do, this will work just fine!. I found the buzz from this to be mellow and relaxing and have been using it before bed to sprinkle into a joint that is more indica based. Was definitely helpful in aiding my sleep issues.

Medium sized chunky nugs. Super caked and sticky. Smells meaty (reminds me of CE meatbreath#29). Heavy hitter potency and greyish ashes. Definitely happy with this oz on sale, can’t wait to squish some!

Smells like hay, what can you tell from the pic? Im feeling like it's 2% THC garbage, looks worse laid out with perlite and stems everywhere ; overall very disappointed

This was a nice strain. Had a few buddy’s over and they all really enjoy it. The taste was great. Helps put me to sleep.

Yeah it smells really nice the nugs are medium density and slightly sticky. Will update with a review later once I smoke some

Haven't tried any of these new strains yet will be updating these posts later tonite with a review. They all have a strong nose and nugs look great but will comment on high/burn/flavour/smell later.

I got sent this one because the oz of death bubba out of my qp mix and match was all small popcorn buds. The green crack was very tasty and smells great tho. Not as strong as the pink rockstar to me. Very nice of them to send out an extra 7g. The death bubba was still good it to had a nice smell and taste. Just very small popcorn buds

I got the mix and match qp from here. This one was the best out of the 4 . I enjoy the smell of this one. And I found it pretty potent. Overall worth the buy and customer service was great.

They now have a medial ID requirement on the form, but I've been told you can pretty much attach whatever pic there, so long as you have a decent enough ID submitted to prove your age. Ordering & Pricing: A few months back, the Kootenay guys offered me a complimentary OZ for helping them with several website and customer service issues. At that time I was a moderator on here and opted to refuse the offer, not wanting to cause any unnecessary drama or baseless accusations due to my position. When the recent strain release happened, since I'm not in as a sensitive position, I figured I'd take them up on it. They accepted to send an OZ for review. I actually simply placed the order via email without going through the site and randomly selected among the new strains. Communication: All my emails and questions were answered in a timely manner and the communication was good. They were a bit slow to send the tracking, but I didn't pressure them, figured since it's free, I wasn't in any rush :) Packaging: The usual plastic jars that people either love or hate, vacuum sealed into a bag, which was in a bubble mailer. They now have a foam 'seal' on the containers that they didn't have before, insuring a perfectly air tight seal. Nice little touch. Once opened though the foam is kind of annoying and has a lot of static, trichs and weed stick to it like crazy. Nothing dramatic, but worth xfering to proper glass jars. The seal doesn't seem optimal if left as is, my wardrobe where I store my shit is stinky right now, lol. The buds are nice, not huge but decent sized, well trimmed, seemed a tiny bit dryer than I'm used to from KC. Breaking it apart, the faint nose is confirmed, it has a nice floral smell, but it's definitely not as loud as it could be. Even completely grounded, the smell wasn't really there. Smoking this wasn't all that pleasant, not much if any terps go through, the smoke isn't smooth but not too harsh either, just a pretty generic boring taste. Buzz was decent, but nothing amazing. It was my first Black Domina so I can't really judge on the strain accuracy, but I was told by others it's usually a heavy hitter, didn't feel that way to me. I hadn't had a NL or close relative in 20+ years and the nose immediately reminded me of the 90's, NL was a pretty common 'mids' strain that was around back then. It's a nice piney smell, a bit sharp and spicy but with an hint of sweetness, very nice nose. Again it was a tiny bit dryer than what I like, seems like it might have been over-dried during the curing maybe. Big compact nugs, nice trim. Unfortunately, similar to the Black Domina, not much of the taste came through in a joint. It was smoother than the Black Domina, but not much fun to smoke despite all that. GIving it a 6.5/10. I actually asked just a few weeks ago to KC that they bug their growers for some skunk and they told me 'Hey, we're getting some just now as a matter of fact'. I knew Skunk #1 wasn't the strain I'm looking for, but getting skunk from the quality growers KC deals with gave me hope that it would at least be a nice drop. First off, that nose is pungent and gassy as hell, it is bar none the most pungent weed I've had from any MOM. My wife had me air the house out after rolling a joint. It's still not roadkill level, but this is definitely some legit skunk, zero hints of fruits or other shit, it's straight up skunky gas. As you can see from the pics (that's the whole quarter) it came as 2 very good looking buds of ~3.5g each. The cure and humidity is absolutely perfect, it's plush, fresh, real nice. Grinding this up released the fragrance and it was very pleasant to play with. Smoking this, I can say this is one of the most pleasant smoke I've had from any MOM. The terps come through hard, the smoke is creamy, extremely smooth (you can take huge rips and not not cough), very nice. My only complaint is that I rolled a pretty fat joint, was the first of my day and I didn't get much of a buzz out of smoking all of it. Skunk has never been a very heavy hitter, but this stands out as one of the weakest buzz I've had, reminds me of 1:1 CBD strains. Def a case of needing a little kick, be it with a bit of oil or hash. Giving this a 8.5/10, would have been a 9 if the potency was higher. I don't usually grade weed based on potency, but this is a special case. Incentive for Customers: The usual 20% for 4+ quarters is a very nice feature of Kootenay,. They also have a new WELCOME2019 code which gives you 50$ on the first order (I don't think it works if you already used the older WELCOME code). Also, each month they have a 10% clearance sale, followed by a 15% strain release sale. Those do not stack with the 50$ welcome code, but they do stack with the 20% mix and match. Makes for pretty cheap OZ when all said and done. Incentive for Review: Product was received for free for a review. Notes: I had listed 4 strains and they only sent 3 of them. I didn't bother asking or mentioning, figured they were either out or messed up, either way it being free, no biggie. The missing strain was Mango Tango. Overall, this wasn't my best order from them, but the skunk was a very nice find and I'll definitely be ordering more of it despite the potency issue. So satisfying to finally get that long lost taste :)

SWIM's dealer had it years ago, of course remembered the distinctive name, smell, and 'zone out' effects. This is a creeper not a heavy hitter, would not recommend for daytime use or for those that are looking for that sativa rush. Reminds me of a heavy CBD strain

I tried their 3g sample pack and liked the Pink Rockstar the best so I picked up 2 OZs and the sent me a vape pen for a sample. Awesome smell and taste to this, it's smooth with whitish ash, the only issue is the size of the buds, about 50% are around dime size popcorn but still the quality is there and bud size does't matter to me as much as some. I think it's the last bit the had, it was sold out the day after I ordered. Happy with my order and will be a return customer. I requested my order to be shipped in a box and they did arrange this for me but I think normally they just vac seal and bubble envelope it.

Ohh yeah this stuff just stinks of gas too. Also a heavy indica high, the lambs bread didn't lighten it up at all lol.
