Sour diesel is one of my favourites because the strain name actually makes sense. The smell out of the bag is very fresh, citrusy and sweet, and busting it up produces very sour lemony smells, like a lemon candy with a side note of dankness. The buds are tighter than they look, frosty, hairy and very sticky, slightly dry but exactly how I like. Smoked through a bong it produces a very smooth and flavourful hit, little harsh on the exhale but doesn't make me cough. The sweet and sour flavour is almost overwhelming, but somehow becomes overpowered by the nearly noxious diesel flavours. The combination of flavours is very strong and takes some getting used to. Burns a mostly white to salt and pepper ash. Through the vape its an insanely smooth hit that can be dangerous since it doesn't even feel like you're getting anything. Produces whispier clouds, with less flavour than I expected, some of the sweet flavours came through and none of the diesel or sour. The potency is noticeable nearly right away with a powerful cerebral high. That initial cerebral high lasts throughout, while gaining more cloudy, yet focused and very creative bursts. Its an electric sativa high, but not too energetic, its very mellow but left me capable to do things around the house, socialize or just chill. Controllable munchies, no anxiety, no couchlock and the only sign of body buzz is a nice warming effect. 7.5 for potency, very strong and at higher doses it gets intense. Overall its a home run Sour Diesel, covers all the bases from smell, flavour to the great buzz. If you're after this classic strain look no further.

Strong chemical / diesel smell on the nose on opening the baggy. Beautiful appeal, deep green hues with unpronounced hairs. Amber gold trichomes cover the buds and give them a sticky, resinous feel. Minty green closer to the stem, the more you bust this stuff up the more the smell comes though. Wafted right out of the grinder and the dry pulls carry a heavy taste of gas and chemical. Although this strain is a creeper and took a few minutes to fully hit me, I was expecting something a tad stronger (I say this after smoking the Platinum Rockstar and Pink Bubba, both of these were stupid strong). An evenly distributed head / body high that lasted a good hour and a half on about four bongs. It wasn't debilitating, great for day time use or when I'm trying to play video games without getting so high I fall asleep. Not cloudy at all. 8/10, might order again

Has that typical tuna with a sweetness to it. Thick tasty smoke settles you into a nice relaxed mood. Will leave you with heavy eyes before the joint is even out. As with most kush strains, the trim could have been better, lol - would be my only knock.

Definitely the best pink kush I had and thankfully the hype was real and worth every penny. Really gassy and floral pink kush terps and very potent, with a clean burning, white ash and oil ring. Smoke is super heavy and thick and the high is almost instant. Sedating and stoney high that usually results in me passing out sitting up. Hard to finish a full gram joint and I have a damn high tolerance. The buds are cured to perfection and is sticky icky. Came all clumped together in one piece. Also Redfox is the man, he had it the cheapest around that I could find.

Yessir super heavy indica, felt the effects immediately after smoking a blunt of this. Typical Rockstar terps, super gassy and loud. Burned clean white as well.

Smell is definitely banana candy and I agree the taste is much more dominated by the earthy OG side

Large textured buds with nice green and red hairs. Smell is cheese and grapes which I find to be an odd combo but surprisingly it works real well. The grape comes out a lot when it’s smoked. Good hybrid high, pretty potent too. Not the smoothest smoke or prettiest buds but I’m pretty happy with this one. I should clarify that I normally hate cheese type strains too, so the fact that I like this means something. 7.5/10

I added this to the Welcome pack as it was on sale at $30 a gram. As far as I can tell it's clean and ISN'T PINE TAR! It burns clean too with a nice thick smoke. Taste isn't a thing that I notice a lot; it tastes the same as other concentrates I've tried, but that's just me. It has a great high that puts me in the couch before crashing for the night! I've only bought this plus the welcome pack from Kushstation but I've been really impressed with what I gotten so far. They do offer points for reviews.

So this is my fourth order from Mainland Cannabis, and biggest yet (half Pound 4x2oz different strains) I had gotten the Bluefin Tuna Kush before (one ounce, and then another two) and it was always bigger buds than what I got now. This two ounces is all smalls with lots of stems that could have been cut a bit shorter or broken off. As far as I can tell, the smoke is the exact same. Same smooth tuna potent smoke I love just as enjoyable as always but I can’t help but feel a bit cheesed that I got all smalls in this batch. I understand that when you buy bulk the prices go down and you can’t guarantee every single bud is going to look as nice or as big as the ones they’re selling for in the single + upcharged ounces. But this is a bit much for me, I guess I was just hoping to be a bit more pleased after a large purchase. I’m letting this one slide because it’s not a huge deal and maybe they’re running low on tuna. Perhaps if I had gotten a HP of straight tuna there would be some choice buds. Anyways not gonna lose any sleep over it I just smoke it anyways and like I said it’s just as smooth and tasty and potent so for me this still gets a 9 but i would be lying if I said I wasn’t upset to not see a single bud weigh over .5.

Ordered many times off mainland and always been pleased. This strain appeared on the website at $190 per oz which was $10 more than the bluefin Tuna which is by far my favourite strain I’ve had from MLC, so I assumed it would be the same or better grade. The buds look great as you can tell from the picture but contrarily I had a not so great smoking experience. Very weak nose to the bud, but a surprisingly STRONG taste of....earthy? But not good earthy, more like the earth that mushrooms grow in aka shit. It just has a super strong murky/swampy kinda wet taste and smell to it despite being dry to the touch. I also found the smoke to be a tad harsh for my preference. It could be maybe that I’m just not a fan of this strain but I’m more convinced that i got a bad batch that was grown poorly, some sort of mistake was made along the way. I’ve had lots of (poor quality) bud that tasted this way in my time that were all sorts of different shapes and colours. Out of the 4 strains I’ve now tried from MLC this is one I won’t be getting again, hoping I just got a bad batch or something and that nobody else was as disappointed as I was. All the buds in the two ounces are nice looking, and it’s a potent smoke. But otherwise it’s a miss for me. Hard 4/10

First time trying Thin Mints and Kootenay Craft. I have to say I'm quite impressed. Ordered on a Thursday morning and the shipment arrived the next day to Ontario! Never had 1 day shipping out here. Picked up an oz of the thin mints and it has quickly become my favourite daytime strain.

Well manicured sticky bud that had a classic kush smell. Busts up clumpy and is a dream to roll. Smoked half of this gram and dozed off for a great mid afternoon nap.

I wanted to give carly a shot even though I read about the bug thing. I was offered the Goat but I said no because I don't wanna risk it. Chose this newest drop she had and damn it's pretty nice. I also got 3.5g of the Gas Cookies, I'd say it's pretty much craft level but a bit too airy/leafy. This one was really good for the price and I'd consider it AAA+. PS: I didn't see any bugs in this batch

Buds were mostly medium sized but very sticky and dense, smell was mild, smoke is amazing very potent my tolerance is high but this has me on my ass lol.

Has a very pleasant creamy / minty / pine smell.. buds are nice and dense, burns clean. Great party smoke! Hard hitting heady high initially then gets you nice and loose :). Rated as AAAA and I would say... umm sure? Its definitely potent for me, I've had other buds rated AAAA that were a bit stronger, but I would say a lot better than the AAA selections I've had from Emerald for sure..

I really liked it, especially for daytime and before work. The 7 grams I got came in 2 largenugs, dense nugs, that absolutely stunk and were quite sticky to break up. Didn't need the included boveda at all.A real pungent sweet berry aroma with subtle hints of earth that translated well to taste. I would describe the high as a slight sativa leaving hybrid. It's not crazy potent but a really pleasant buzz, with a mix of relaxing and uplifting effects from both parents. It was between this and Godzilla for me and I think I made the right choice.

Pretty fast onset that leads to some couch lock. Good for an appetite boost. Wouldnt reccomend before working, late aft- evening use. Pulls through a bit harsh but for under 140 your getting some great bud.

The smell is a pungent dank gas which is the pretty typical of rockstar. The smoke is nice and smooth, and the ash burns a clean white. It is only marketed as AAA, which I'd say is fair, although still disappointing for a strain that can be so fantastic. This one has smaller sized buds, that are trimmed fairly well, bag appeal isn't anything special. I enjoy the gassy flavor that comes through on the smoke, even though the smoke is a little harsher than I'd like. This isn't the same Nuken that every other mom seems to have, much more of a fruity berry flavor than the typical earthy gas I've come to expect from this strain. The nug I received was one large, quite visually appealing 3g nug, the only downside visually is the trim that could've used a bit of work. The smoke is pretty smooth, and the ash is slightly dark. The buzz is another straight forward pure indica, fairly strong couch lock and munchies. Very nice stuff. Buzzes quite strong and lasted for hrs into the night. I noticed all the products on thier site so far have been really top quality no matter what price. A sample pack with every order doesn't hurt either. Buy an oz and get 32 grams is pretty sweet.

Tuna seems to be a real hit here on the east coast.
