The return of the most controversial bud of the year has arrived, and I am here to assure you all that this is the same stuff we all fell in love with before the great Headwater Broken A.C. Fiasco (Headwatergate?) of 2021 that left so many justifiably bummed out and mistrustful of the grower/strain. Let me just preface this first off by saying that, yes, I did buy that last batch that everyone was hating on, and while it was clearly not near the same quality as the last batch, I definitely wasn’t nearly as upset as some people as I still found it a decent enough smoke and had only grabbed a half o of the smalls (which SB actually filled out with whatever extra smalls they had as I seemed to get the end of the bag), so I really had no reason to complain. That said, smelling that last stuff it was immediately apparent by the sour mustiness compared to the minty gas of the last batch that it was for sure a big difference. I will not argue that, just saying I didn’t really give a shit and was more just willing to write it off as a fuck up and wait for the next round. Now on to this stuff. Immediately when I pop the jar I am greeted with that familiar and unique sweet minty gas I loved from the first batch. Does it smell as strong as that first batch? I have no idea. It was so long ago and we have a way of glorifying the nugs of the past that I really can’t trust my memory enough to say whether it was better or not, but it definitely brings back some nostalgia on each whiff so i think we’re on the right track. In terms of burn, no complaints whatsoever, but I don’t think burn was ever an issue with this stuff even on the crappier batch. I didn’t pay attention to ash, it was dark and i was high, so sue me lol. But the smoke was smooth and potent as hell, a nice juxtaposition between the feeling of inhaling something smooth as air that you can still feel getting you higher and higher on each puff. The high was exactly what I remember. When that first batch came around I kept on referring to it as the TV weed because every time I smoked it I felt completely glued to the screen and utterly captivated by whatever I was watching. I barely watch tv but smoking that stuff always made my A.D.D ass able to sit still and binge a series for hours. When I smoked this last night I noticed a similar effect, I just felt completely locked in to whatever album I was listening to at the time and just completely content to chill the fuck out and be in the moment. Ok i think that is probably about as long of an essay as I’m going to get away with before i start losing your stoner asses attention so i’ll stop there, but last point i wanna make is that this is completely unincentivised (spelling?). With that said, I think Stashbox are genuinely solid people that I have grown to really like and have always treated me very well, so I do want to go to bat for them for a sec here and say I think it’s a bit weird how quick people turned on them over this fiasco. Headwater fucked up, and I think a lot of people got screwed in the process, but I really don’t think SB deserves the brunt of that upset after providing what I think most of us can agree has been a really solid service for a while now. Not trying to stir the pot here, but just really think people need to chill out on how quickly they will turn on a MOM over a mistake. We are all human, including your mail order service/grower/dealer. If you decide not to go forward with someone after a fuck up that is totally understandable, but do we have to be complete assholes about it? Bright green and frosty large chunks. Crispy on the outermost layer only, and not enough to drop keif. The inside of the bud will stick to a wall. In hand and in the jar it smells sort of like LA Kush cake. However as soon as you crush it you get a very contrasted profile that is like a sour rotting fruit. It doesn't smell like pineapple or passionfruit but something unique that has about the same level of tropicalness and sourness as those two fruit. It's fruit funk is present in the smoke with the aftertaste lasting in the back of your mouth. The la kush cake terps are present throughout as well. Solid effects, daytime or night. Large, chunky, sticky. Will easily stick to your wall and not fall. Fresh, smooth, clean, easy smoke. Smells like mothballs with a subtle back end of lime zest and gas. Smoke is reminiscent of a bubba or an og without kush taste if that makes any sense. Somewhat of a creeper, effects are more pronounced about 2-5 minutes after the bong. Quite nice. Will work for evening time.

**Not incentivized ? nice big, frosty nugs... got a Q which came as two kolas. Classic pink bud structure, more frosty than your typical pink. Clearly this is a fresh drop which is important to me.. it hasn't been squished in shipping, structure and trichomes in tact ? excellent cure... crisp exterior, sticky and greasy busted up. Rolled one up and it all stuck together immediately.. careful not to roll this one too tight! ? classic pink nose, could be stronger out the bag.. but busted up it gets super loud with some rubbery notes that I enjoy ? smooth even burn and smooth smoke but clearly with potency and that bit of lung tickle holding it in .. some peppering in the ash but overall a nice clean burn ? excellent translation of pink terps to smoke... it has the flav, potency, but smoothness that makes this the kind of pink I very much enjoy ? hits hard! Only smoked about a 3rd of the spliff (taste was consistent throughout)... put me right to bed like a proper pink should. Heavy relaxing high Quality 9.25/10 Value: 9.5/10

**Not incentivized ? Caked and beautiful visual appearance as you can see! ? nice firm crisp exterior, some stick. Breaking apart, nice snap, even moisture and stickiness ... excellent cure ? ?mouth watering candy like ? nose on this one, some rubbery subtleties that sends me on a trip .. reminiscent of 90s hydro. Can't stop sniffing this one once you get a wiff! Busting it up makes the already loud aroma even stronger ? ?? clean even burn, some peppering and a small ring of resin. ? the spiciness implied by the namesake drink is strong in the flavor, not barely present in the nose. More subtle background translation of terps to smoke ? got me nice n high on only part of a spliff I burned ... good potency ? great value at a 200z/55q Quality 9/10 Value 9.5/10
