Hi everyone - first time posting here so hopefully I am doing this right. Been an avid smoker but only recently started using MOMs. Being in the GTA, one of my buddies recommended this company to me. FULL DISCLOSURE: I was offered a $12 coupon for writing this review. Thanks for reading! MOM Name: Flash Buds (or Flash Buds Company) - www.flashbuds.ca Overall rating out of 10: 9/10 Sign Up: Relatively straightforward. Go to their site, hit register, enter email, they'll send you a password. Looks like using your account has benefits since they have a token reward so you can collect and redeem. Ordering & Pricing: I've been purchasing most of my cannabis directly from a buddy who is now moving out of town. Compared to my buddies pricing Flash Buds seems to be on par. Overall, I am happy with the pricing and their site seems to offer a wide array of discounts. While it was fun navigating the site, it was a bit overwhelming to try and put together all their discounts and packages. One of the reasons for a ding on their overall rating. Customer service was prompt however and answered all my questions around 11PM at night which was great. Communication: Super easy to communicate with and very responsive. At first I thought I was talking to a bot because they reply within 30 minutes. If that's the norm for all MOMs then I am a happy camper. Packaging: Well I used to receive my goods in a zip lock bag inside a black bag so this is 100x better. Looks really cool, package was branded and was sealed in double bags. They had something called a boveda pack inside which was nice. https://i.imgur.com/FTK4oA6.jpg Products / Photos: I ordered a quarter pound of Black Diamond (my personal favourite strain) for $720 (after some automatic site discounts) with free delivery (since I was in the GTA) instead of shipping. Ordered on a Thursday night, got my package Friday around 6PM. I don't roll and smoke using a bong FYI. AAAA - Black Diamond (8/10): Was very happy with this strain. It's got that purple colour I love and I could feel the effects immediately. Brought on a heavy lazy feeling and then the munchies kicked in. Smell was what I am used to with Black Diamond with an earthy mix. Not sure what else to write other than it feels like a true quad and the price was good. Gave it an 8 because for the price I got exactly what I expected but it wasn't a total WOAH 10/10 bud. https://i.imgur.com/MxETy50.jpg https://i.imgur.com/PemBWHW.jpg AAAA - El Chapo (9/10): Got this as a free sample. It is such an insanely strong indica I passed out after a half bowl. It falls under their super quads section and I understand why now. Bit pricey but if you're looking for something to help you sleep and you are tired of the bubba strains this is probably the one for you. https://i.imgur.com/TRuyvbe.jpg AAAA - Platinum Bubba Kush (9/10): Also got this as a free sample for the larger order. Bubba Kush is one of my favourites so I was excited to try the platinum bubba kush. It's got a spicy and sweet smell at the same time and the sleepiness feeling takes a few minutes to kick in. Was unhappy with a recent change in their shake mix and I wrote to them about it. The new batch is a lot better, smokes decent, but perfect for baking and making honey. There's even small nugs included now which makes it the best shake deal at $40/oz for me!

Sign Up: Sign up is pretty simple, a little different than most signup processes. Sign up with your e-mail and they'll send you login instructions. Ordering & Pricing: Pricing seems to be pretty good across the board. They've recently added a couple pricier strains (over 200/oz) that I haven't tried, but otherwise the price to quality was good. Communication: Communication through both e-mail and discord was fantastic. Professional and quick. Pick out a few loose stems and it's pretty much just a mix of high quality popcorn nugs. Some people aren't into that, but I don't mind a fun little grab bag. https://i.imgur.com/Lo4phwT.jpg Black Diamond This Black Diamond seems to lack the purple color that black diamond is usually full of, but it has a very nice sweet smell typical to the strain. The buds are pretty dense, trimmed quite well and overall quite visually appealing. The smoke is pretty smooth and burns quite well. I'd say the buzz is an indica leaning one that hits quite hard. Fluffier buds with a strong gassy smell, nice smooth smoke, and a great indica leaning high. Has a fantastic pungent earthy gas smell. The buds are trimmed pretty well, are fairly dense, and seem to have been dried exceptionally well. The smoke is nice and smooth, with a solid white ash. Notes: Flashbuds has some fantastic customer service, and offer bulk pricing on products if you ask them for it directly. Likely one of my new go-to sites.

**MoM/RetailerName** Flash Buds **Shipping/Packaging** Based out of Ontario and they also offer local same day delivery if you qualify for it in the Toronto area. Really fast drop off and courteous about putting the package in a discreet place since I wasn't home. All this was confirmed via text message. Very professional. Received in a black paper lunch bag with the flower packaged in a Flash themed red and yellow baggie. **Gas Mask** https://i.imgur.com/8JACs8R.jpg https://i.imgur.com/P5vOACb.jpg Many indicas in their strain selection and I was offered this Gas Mask as one of their best and top selling strains. The buds were very dense and heavy with a tight structure. A mix of dark and light greens with decent trichome coverage and a fair share of pale orange hairs. Also sticky when broken apart. At first the aroma is a little subtle and has a general gassy kush type of smell. As soon as a nug is cracked open and ground up the smell becomes more pungent with notes of gas and earth. The smoke is quite similar with a gassy, kushy flavour and produces a heavy smoke. Can be a little cough inducing. Burns a salt and pepper coloured ash. Relaxing and sedating effects just like you would expect from a gassy type indica like this. I would say it comes on more like a creeper with a couch lock that intensified with time. Heavy eyes and very lazy type high perfect for evening use and before bed. **Incentive** This sample was offered for an honest and unbiased review. **Final Notes** Only a handful of local MoMs doing same day deliveries and it's a great option to offer. These guys are new but so far they seem on the ball. Very friendly and courteous in communication about strains and delivery times etc. The name does it justice as well as the drop off was very quick from time of order.

Ordering & Pricing: I got this through a labour day sale, so I paid less than $130 an oz by buying two. Communication: Discord. Fantastic person to speak with; very professional, friendly, and quick to respond. Exactly what you want from a good pink, and definitely worth the price. I’ve had similarly priced pink kush and this was better. Smelled really good, looked great, and it was a nice smooth ride. The buds looked great. Rosé Pink No. 6 (AAAA) https://i.imgur.com/n0rTGUC.jpg I typically buy a mix of expensive stuff and cheaper stuff, but this was a sample added on to my order after speaking to an extremely helpful employee, so a big thank you to them. I’m usually nervous trying new strains that are more on the expensive side but this was honestly fantastic; it blew my mind how potent it felt. It makes me want to try out the other cool pinks they have. Really enjoyed the smell and how nice the buds looked. Incentive for Customers: Excellent CS, great products, and good value. Incentive for Review: None other than due to how helpful I found them to be! Notes: I also really want to comment on how great the customer service is at flashbuds. They are extremely quick at replying to inquiries and extremely helpful. I had a mistake in an order and it was fixed within an hour, with tracking sent out later that same day.
