Purple Pugs Breath- Ganjawest- April 2020

Beautiful sugary exterior that was dominated by bright greens with deep green and purple accents. On closer inspection trichome heads were dense clear and milky. Delicate and short pistils were clustered into several areas throughout the large tapered nugs.  Upon closer examination the trichome heads were mainly clear and milky; with some patches on the exterior missing heads. The buds did arrive on the dry side which likely is the reason the nose was muted. I was able to pick up mainly sweet and musky pine notes, but these were faint. After a day with a humidity pack the smell improved but only slightly. Smoke was generally smooth and burned a white ash but noticed a slightly dry throat by the end of a joint.  Taste was more prominent than the smell with the same sweet pine notes. Post-smoke buzz started with a buzz at the top of the head dropping down between the eyes. This soon became a dominant body high with sensation of heaviness hitting the muscles of the limbs, making it an easy decision to “take it easy”.  Could only see myself using this on the weekend for a lazy late afternoon nap or daily in the evening.

Full Photo Album + Macros--->http://imgur.com/a/42hTSfA As I opened the jar I was immediately hit with pungent whiffs of woody pine, citrus and undertones of diesel. There was also a distinct menthol aroma that made the other scents more prominent.  The gram consisted of two boulders made up of collections of smaller diamonds that gave it an appearance like a sugar cube that got slightly wet. The larger boulders easily crumbled when touched but soon after would stick to another cluster of diamonds; making it easy to work with. The smoke was smooth and tasty with tons of sweet, herbal and spicy notes on both inhale and exhale. Odd combination of flavors that I didn’t expect to like but found it very enjoyable. Post-dab I experienced a heavy-duty sativa high that had my thoughts racing and heart pumping; which lasted 30 minutes. Later this high mellowed out into a strong but clear stoney head high which made gaming and heading out with my dog more enjoyable. A daytime or get shit done kind of strain for me. Could recommend as I enjoyed the strong terpene profile, smooth smoke and strong sativa high.

The frosty exterior provided by the trichomes helped to make the overly rich purple backgrounds stand out. Crazy amount of complete trichomes becoming even more tightly crowded between the segments of the buds. Again, one downfall was bud arrived on the dry side. Smell was faintly sweet with notes of diesel; which again became more pronounced after a day with a humidity pack. Similar but more pronounced taste with addition of peppery notes; burned well with mainly white salt and pepper ash. Immediate stoney but clear head high felt as pressure behind the eyes that progressed towards the top of my head. Later, a sense of heaviness starting at the head crawled down my back spreading to the rest of the body.  Found I was still able to be productive (like writing this review ha) but was enjoyably relaxed with bouts of euphoria bringing a smile to my face occasionally. Another really well balance hybrid with potent results; which for me is better suited as a daytime strain as I never did get any sedative effects.

Black Roses - Ganja West - Early May

Arrived just a tad dry, but still grinds up nicely, I just prefer my flower a bit more moist, just a touch. Smokes great though, with light grey smooth ash, and decent oil rings. Nose is like a mix between a Violator and a GDP, sweet and floral, and translates nicely to taste. This is not a potent flower IMO, I would compare the high to a Watermelon, nice daytime indica.

Sour Amnesia Live Resin- Ganjawest- April 2020

Smell was so damn vibrant and beautiful; with sour, sweet and for me an almost watermelon terpene profile.  Was constantly returning for more whiffs. Colour was sugared amber exterior with a bright golden hued interior. Found it easy to gather a solid sized dab without any difficulty. Burned clean and hit hard with strong sour notes being the most prominent, which I loved. Hit with immediate and potent cerebral effects which made it difficult to focus for the first 30 minutes. Later this transitioned into relaxing physical effects felt throughout the body which was on the fringe of couchlock. Could recommend this product as a smoke anytime of the day but would caution that a couple fat dabs may put you straight to sleep.

Full Photo + Macro Album--> [https://imgur.com/a/ggMfmuL](https://imgur.com/a/ggMfmuL) The strain arrived as a slightly dry spade shaped nug that had bright green backgrounds, some frosted deep green sugar leaves and tiny light orange pistils. The entire bud appeared sandy with short trichomes along the exterior. Smell was slightly muted, but when broken down was met with fragrant sweet, floral and skunky notes. Taste was a mix of sweet and earthy flavors burning smoothly with minor harshness noticed midway through a jay. Harshness was likely a byproduct of the bud being lightly dry, otherwise the strain burned well finishing with a fluffy light grey ash. The buzz was the highlight producing powerful sensations of relaxing that initiated in the torso and spreading outwards. Later pleasant cerebral effects were felt behind the eyes, but this was a definite Indica leaning hybrid. Likely would recommend for winding down, relaxing or putting your ass to sleep.

Girl Scout Cookies- Ganjawest- April 2020

The texture of this product resembled glass with no pull and snap but rather breaking into shards without much effort. Nice amber and caramel colour with good translucency with some waxing noticed in one corner of the complete shard. A pleasant but mild sweet, earthy and peppery smell drifted from the shatter. The taste was rich compared to the smell with earthy and peppery notes most noticeable. Very smooth inhale which hit hard with initially relaxing physical effects followed closely by a clear head high. In my opinion this was a balanced hybrid that could be used in several situations depending on the dose.
